A thin slicer from a billet that I forged from 15N20 and 1084 high carbon steel
I heat treat in a digitally controlled furnace with five cycles over three hours to assure a fine grain structure throughout the blade. This is to produce a blade that is strong, easily sharpened and holds a good edge.
The blade is evenly tapered from the spine to the edge and from the index finger to the tip for ease of slicing
Handle material is professionally stabilized maple burl, dishwater safe but never in the dishwasher
Overall length: 11 1/4 inches
Blade:6 1/2 inches
Blade depth at the index finger is 1 1/2 inches
Blade thickness at the index finger is 1/8 inch
SOLD. This price includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail within the US. My PayPal and email address is gldrewknives@gmail.com
