Hello,
I am interested in taking a class or two and learning how to forge damascus blades this winter. Does anyone on this board offer classes, or have a recommendation for someone who does? I am really only interested in hunting/skinning type knives at this point. I live in Eagle. I don't have any forging experience, but have made a dozen knives out of CPM 154 bar stock on my 2x72 homemade grinder. I have sent them out to be properly heat treated. The only smith offering classes in Colorado I have found is Dove Creek Knives. I haven't contacted him yet, but would like to have a couple options if possible to find the best match for what I am looking for. I would be willing to go further for the right mentor, but time then becomes and issue.
Thanks for any info in advance,
Brian
