Wow!!! I don't know if I have ever seen sandalwood that looked like that!!!!!! I just Googled it and the entries said that sandalwood burl and figured wood is among the rarest exotic stuff out there. You knife must smell amazing!!!!

It really is. I have been selling in exotics for years and I only saw one sandle wood burl. It was being bid on and if I remember by the time we left the auction it was at about 4500 a board foot. Beautiful piece you have! and the knife is amazing as well. Your damascus or Alabama's?
