My Elementum has a blackwashed Damascus blade that is probably similar to Alabama Damascus.I don't have any , but I've read good things about Civivi Damascus at reasonable prices . At least functional at reasonable cost .

I know the composition is secret for industry reasons, but I've heard multiple things about how it is composed and nothing about how it performs. Civivi knives don't use super high end steel, so the Damascus won't be competing with the likes of S35VN or M390, but how does it compare to the...www.bladeforums.com

The pocket knife had that "C" on the pivot like the knife in your link and I believe it has a button on the handle. I think the button is just a lock to hold the blade closed or open. I can't say the Damascus showed up as nice as the one in the link you showed but it was so shinny it was hard to tell outdoors. It had a pocket clip also. He always carried a pocket knife for opening packages of equipment for an electronics business and said it was as sharp as the razor utility knives they gave him to use. Only problem was the razors got dull pretty quick but his knife has not for some time. He was worried that the stuff on the packing tap might screw up the blade so he cleans it once or twice a week and puts something like minwax on it.
