Hi everyone, I have a fabulous Spyderco Mule available today as well as some super hard to find Halpern Titanium scale sets with included mounting hardware (all are Torx T8 barrel bolts) and a fitted SheathPro sheath for the flat (Option 5) scale sets. As always, the price listed below covers both PayPal Goods & Services fees and fully insured USPS Priority shipping costs. I do not accept PP Friends & Family payments, and am not interested in any trades at this time.
Mule Team MT07P DPS-15 Damascus/VG-10 Core SOLD! $160
Rare as all get out, released in October 2010. LNIB with no scratches or blemishes, 15-layer Damascus in a Suminagashi pattern over a VG-10 core center. While new and unused, I’ve had different Halpern scale sets mounted on it over the years to ogle at it and take pics. Comes in original box with manual, plastic blade protector and paperwork.
Halpern Titanium CF and Silver Twill Option 5 Sets SOLD! $75 for CF; $55 for Silver Twill
Like new. Very hard to find semi-custom scale sets from Halpern Titanium. These are both Halpern’s flat style Option 5. Both sets have been mounted on different Mule blades but never carried/used (just admired). The texture on the CF set is smooth like the recent Native Chief S90V sprint, and the silver twill have the typical Spyderco grippy peel-ply texture. The SheathPro Kydex sheath offered below fits these scales ONLY (not any of the next sets of contoured scales).
Halpern Titanium Orange G10 Option 4 and Uber Rare Option 1 Sets SOLD! $40 for Option 4; $50 for Option 1
The contoured Option 4 set (bottom) has been mounted on different Mule blades over the years. This set (and the two sets in the next group below) have been carefully sanded by myself to remove the rough texture of the factory scales, I think they are far better this way and really show off the materials. The Option 1 (top) set I spotted on eBay many years ago and are full-block scales that you could modify with any contouring/texturing pattern you’d like (sort of a blank set of full-thickness orange G10 scales); these are completely unused and were never mounted or oiled/WD-40’d (that’s why they look dry). I’ve never seen another set of Option 1 scales in the wild actually.
Halpern Titanium Dymondwood Rosewood and Burgundy Paperstone Option 4 Sets SOLD! $50 each
Incredibly hard to find (rosewood Dymondwood is on top, burgundy paperstone on bottom). These are both contoured Option 4 sets have been mounted on different Mule blades but never carried/used. Like the orange G10 set above, these scales have been carefully sanded by myself to remove the rough factory texture, and these two are perhaps the best examples of how doing that really brings out the materials. Both these materials have been used on Spyderco folders (rosewood on the KC REX45 Shaman and burgundy paperstone on a Lum Tanto fixed blade sprint), but were first offered here by Halpern (who coincidentally have been commissioned by Spyderco to make scales over the years). Please note the burgundy paperstone set has flecks of white and grey within the material itself, they’re not scratches or blemishes! The Lum Tanto was also like that…

This was made by Christina Gere of SheathPro who Spyderco uses to make all their Kydex sheaths (and she is also coincidentally Sal Glesser’s daughter). FYI, Spyderco will refer you to SheathPro if you want a Kydex sheath made for your Mule, and SheathPro needs to know which option Halpern scale set you’re using for proper fit. Comes with attached Spyderco G-clip as shown (you could take it off and add whatever clip you wanted). This sheath is ONLY for either the CF or silver twill Option 5 (flat) scale sets offered above, they will not fit the contoured sets.
All standard BF buying/shipping rules apply. You must be at least 18 years old and it is your responsibility to know and adhere to your local knife carry laws. Immediate payment is expected or I will move onto the next interested buyer.
