Damascus offcuts?

Are there any suppliers or individuals that offer damascus offcuts? I'm looking for a small rectangular piece or two and I didn't really find anything when I googled it.
 
Well, the difficulty is the pricing. If you need to buy a piece it's usually got to be 6" or more long and probably $110 or more. If you buy special bolsters they will be $60 or more for two. I like to use large bolsters on my folders but even at that besides a few smaller ones I may trade off I don't end up with pieces that I would want to give away unless it was a one time special.

Thanks Frank, that makes sense. I figured most makers probably use up whatever scraps they have. I saw that Boker actually sells some offcuts but they are in Europe. I guess I'll just wait until I can get a bar for myself.

Try K&G. They had some skeletons from water jetting awhile ago. Fairly reasonably priced.

Alabama damascus sells the cutouts and offcuts. At shows they have a pile of them. Check their website or call them.
 
Alabama Damascus used to sell a bunch of them on eBay. I've not looked in awhile but a few months back they had them.
