Damascus Pins?

I don't see too many damascus pins.

Any particular reasons as to why that is the case?

When you read patternwelded steel, you read it from the side (except mozaic). The end just arn't very interesting. Hummmm Mozaic pins Hummmm. Why not?

That's a good idea, actually. I'm always screwing up pieces of steel. Once I start pattern-welding, I'm sure I'll screw up a lot more of it. Why not make some of the cutoffs into pins? Once annealed, they should peen over ok. I think it would be very attractive on the right knife.

The damascus pins are not very atractive unless it the right pattern and there big enough to see the pattern..
