Damascus ring guard fighter WIP- finished :)

Hello friends,

Some time ago I talked with my best supplier Mark Farley on production bowie for him. He did not give me the exact specifications, except that he likes the ring guard and sent me a piece of wood.

I decided to shoot smaller WIP about production of this knife.

For a start a few phone photos from blade making. From making handle will be more photos.

Awesome! Thanks for posting all of these pictures (hope there are still a bunch more yet ). I know some makers might say that there are already a bunch od WIPs out there with guys showing how they fit and shape handles, guards & etc... But to me, even noticing the slightest difference in tools and/or technique can make a light bulb go off in my head and make it all worth it. Plus it just never gets old watching the process and progress of such beautiful knives, not to me at least.

Thank You for posting all these photos Milan. I really enjoy getting to watch the knife getting built.

Thanks for your support It's not easy to make a knife and also taking pictures. But I started to like it. I buy a durable camera and I'll shoot more WIP.

is that Rosewood burl or Amboyna - I can't tell from the pics?

(BTW that is not in any way a "dig" at the fotos - I think this is a terrific WIP! My eyes are not what they used to be)
