What kind of damascus are you using, and what do you etch it with to get the high contrast. I think I like it a little better that way than alot of the other damascus I have seen.

Matt,
The damascus is made by Devin Thomas. I mixed 25% etching solution with 75% distilled water and etched the blades for about 4 minutes (I think). I just watched it until I got the results I wanted. I'll have to check my notes to be sure about the time.
