It has been a while since I was really torn about selling one of my knives. I really wanted to keep this one, but my wife made a compelling case for me to sell it.
Here is some of my San mai. I make it with Alabama damascus and W2 from Aldo Bruno. It is polished to 1000 grit and etched to bring out the layers.
The handle is African Blackwood. It polishes up nicely and looks like glass when buffed. It is faceted and is supremely comfortable in the hand. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.
The sheath is hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It is made specifically for this knife and it holds the knife securely.
Dimensions
Blade - 5" tip to handle
OAL - 10"
Price - $340 shipped to US. I will ship internationally for an additional fee.
I will have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it!" gets it.
