Damascus San Mai Recurve with Cocobolo and Leather

This is Alabama damascus that I forge welded to a core of W2. The blade has been polished and etched to bring out the details.

The handle is cocobolo. It has been faceted and polished and really shines like glass. The butt end is rounded and the whole thing is very comfortable. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.

The sheath is hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It is made specifically for this knife and it fits like a glove with good retention and a nice draw.

Things happen too fast on this forum for an old fart like me!!!...I a scrolling down, looking at the pictures of this knife, thinking that, maybe, I should buy it...scroll down a bit more and see that it sold in about 30 minutes...guess "you snooze, you lose" applies...anyway, nice knife...
