This skinner is made from 1/8" thick Damascus, and has a 2.5" long x 1.25" wide blade, with the knife having an OAL of 6". The handle scales are water buffalo horn with brass pins.

Nice looking knife. I have to get some water buffalo horn. I have a knife my dad gave me that he picked up overseas. It used to be a perfectly balanced throwing knife. Needless to say I didn't always stick the landing so the handle broke. One side is still attached so I can use it as a guide. One day I'll repair it.

Thanks for sharing.

Hey Cuz; I can't believe that knife is still there at that price. What is the mix of steel in your damascus? Rockwell hardness?

It is Thunderforge Twist Damascus, made with a mixture of hi & middle carbon and nickel, and containing 88 layers.....I can't believe it is still here either.
