Damascus Skylines are (updated - sold-out)

When I get this email from dave it will be by far the largest knife order I have ever placed in my life, especially when you factor in the fact that my boss has asked me to order him an 0550 blem. He said he wanted a zt so I brought in all of mine and lined them out by price and said there you go, pick one :p
 
Has Dave hinted at what he'll be charging for the Damascus knives? Looking at the Shallot now and possibly a leek on Blade HQ. On the fence for the Skyline.
 
Nope I imagine he will tell us in our pre order emails... I am sure it will be less than the major retailers and definitely not more, I have never been disappointed by his prices.

Good to know. Thanks for the heads up. Besides, I managed to find something else to order as long as I was on the site....
 
I will probably start sending emails on Wednesday with pricing, blade HQ has set the bar on pricing, their prices are very good and they are a class act, I won't be underselling them, but will be doing the same prices. I really don't think anyone that signed up will go without. I know that some will buy extras to try and make a killing on later, I won't have limits but would ask you to remember at these low prices, please let others get a deal.

As long as I can get a Skyline for me and my brother I will be content :)
 
Were these a sprint run or something? If I read correctly, there's already been a Skyline Damascus released in the past. If that's the case, what makes this one different?

Its not different. They released them in limited quantities before and now they're releasing them in limited quantities again. Once this batch is gone, you won't be able to purchase them outside of the secondary market again until Kershaw decides to whip up another batch.

OK, I get it now. I emailed Dave earlier to ask about getting on a pre-order list if there is one.

Sweet action. It sounds as though dave will be getting quite a few so hopefully you'll be able to get in on one. I don't own any skylines but they get rave reviews on the forum do I figure why not eh..
 
I've said I've wanted only one Skyline damascus.

Now I think I want two; one for play and one in the safe. Still a humble amount compared to what others will get.

Hope I get one too. Would look nice with the blue, red, orange and black that I already have.
 
Mine came in today.

I feel bad that I didn't buy mine from Dave now - I'll have to buy something from him to make myself feel better. Of course, then I'll feel bad because I've left out Blade HQ on a deal, so I'll be obligated to put in another order with them...

It's a vicious cycle.

No need to feel bad, I am getting a bunch of skylines and they are already oversold. Besides if all my competition was as classy as blade HQ, life would be even easier.
