Damascus sources?

Hello to everyone, first post.
I've been nosing around here for a few days, and couldn't find an answer to my exact question, and the search function is restricted from me as of right now, so here goes:

I'm not set up to forge just yet, so I'm pretty much limited to stock removal. I'm dyin' to make myself a Damascus skinner before deer season starts up. I've never messed with Damascus before. Where can I find a quality piece of bar stock that will produce a good blade with proper HT and tempering? I understand I'll have to pay for quality, but I'd prefer to keep my arms and legs for what it's worth.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Jason

Delbert Ealy sells excellent Damascus bars in a variety of patterns, and I think he will do heat treating of pieces made of his damascus

Heck of a nice guy to deal with too

Thanks. I'm really diggin' the 01/L6/nickel stock. I was planning on doing the HT myself, but for his price I might just send it back to him. Very reasonable prices IMO.

Thanks again for the link.

Definately Check out Delberts' Page. or you could check the supplies section here. ;)

Jason,
Heat treating is free on my damascus, you just pay the return shipping.
Thanks for the plug Guys!
Thanks,
Del

Hey there Del, I didn't realize you were a member here. I'm new here, so I'm still tryin' to get to know everyone so to speak.
I really like your work. Very nice looking patterns. I'll probably be contacting you before too long. I'm a poor broke school teacher, but I'm trying to get some workshops this summer that pay ;). I'll probably put that money towards a new rifle and that skinner I want to make.

See you around.
Jason
