Here's a couple of Damascus Spike Hawk's in a Twist Pattern with 2 different style Spike's,74 layer's of D6a and 1018,both with Curly Maple handle's
1.Pointed Spike is 8 3/4 inch's in overall length with a 2 5/8 inch cutting edge,handle is 19 inch's long 325.00
2.Blunt Spike is 9 inch's in overall length with a 2 3/4 inch cutting edge,handle length is 19 1/4 long 325.00
Post an i'll take it and specify which one or both to avoid confusion for other's.
Ship's ConUS priority mail with Delivery Confirmation,international buyer's use postal calculator for rate's,and as usual i'll eat the pay/pal fee's.

You have the most beautiful wood handles. From what part of the tree does that come? And, which species of maple is that? Wow. Sorry, the metal is awesome too. :)

Xmodius the Curl start's showing up as soon as the log is cut,look at a Silver Maple tree and find the ripples running the opposite direction as the bark and you'll find curl inside,Silver Maple and Hard Maple share the same characteristic's,Silver Maple tend's to throw out the Tiger effect more than the Hard Maple doe's,it's a gravity and nutrition thing combined i guess as well as mother nature
 
Geesh, I never thought I'd say this about an axe or hatchet (excuse my ignorance) but they are friggin' AWESOME. My hat's off to you! BTW, I make furniture and see curly soft maple much more often than curly hard maple.
