Hi,
I´am living in the souther Spain building a little workshop to start for my first experiment with damascus steel,
The past weeks i am trying to find the different metal in Spain and in Europe, without any result,
could somebody give me any recommendation for purchasing those material?

I think a few guys were getting some decent steel up in the Sweden Norway areas but cant recall who it was.

The numbers 1095, and 1080 are SAE American convention naming systems

In Germany, Europe and Spain you need to search for different names

Try C95 for 1095 That's the Euro standard , F.5117 for Spain

1080 is SWRH82B



UHB 15n20 is a Brand name of Uddeholm's Sheet product from Sweden.
They produce large bandsaw blades for lumbermills.

It's chemically similar to 1084, but with higher nickel, so it show up shiny in the Damascus.
