Damascus Strength

Hey everyone,

I've been looking at the Bradley Alias recently and saw the special damascus edition. One thing I don't see much of is discussion on the strength of damascus blades and I'm wondering if any of you might know what one might expect of performance from a damascus blade such as found on the Bradley Alias (DEVIN THOMAS Damascus).

But I'm going to guess that the Damascus might not be as tough as the S30V version?
 
It'll hold an edge for a long time, maybe not as long as s30v but definantly long enough and is MUCH easier to sharpen
