Damascus TiSpine & SR-2

Still waiting anxiously for the SR-2 in Lizard to start showing up!!!!

Just noticed SR-2 Damascus Lizard and Raindrop patterns on the LionSteel website. Hopefully, U.S. dealers will have them soon!

I guess we think the same and have similar tastes. I had Gianni make me SR-1 & SR-2 RainDrop Damascus with Bronze Titanium frame!

So how does a mere mortal such as myself obtain something like these? I've just purchased my first SR-1 in orange and absolutely love it. That bronze/dammy is TITS!

Gianni,

In an ad for Damasteel of Sweden it said that they're the only manufacturer offering stainless Damascus steel. I thought the Chad Nichols Damascus that LionSteel uses are also stainless?

When I looked at the Chad Nichols website I can see a section for Standard Stainless and another for Exotic Stainless. Under standard stainless the two you've used: Raindrop and StarFire. Under exotic stainless the two you've used: Lizard and Fade.

I do not know if they have written this thing and I do not know the reason that they have written it because it is not true.
The damascus that we are using, made by Chad Nichols, is stainless.

Gianni,
Are you receiving my emails to info@lionsteel.com because I hear nothing back? Spam folder?

I agree that the Damasteel ad is outdated and incorrect. Here's the Damasteel ad from the August 2014 issue of Blade Magazine on page 57:

"We [Damasteel] hold the international patent to manufacture damascus steel at Damasteel via modern powder metallurgy, which is a method with many advantages."

Here's the Chad Nichols Damascus ad from the same August 2014 issue of Blade Magazine on page 93:

I've just purchased a Damascus (Fate) Ti-Spine and I'm overall satisfied with some reserve.
Could you please tell me at what HRC it comes?

Thanks
