Damascus Traditionals

There's an art to the pattern, no doubt, but my eye prefers an otherwise plain knife with random like this old Parker USA.

Amazing how similar that is to my Parker! Must have been some common source back then! If not the same pattern then darn similar.
 
I only have one traditional with damascus (my others are modern folders), Case Peanut:

I don't know if it's necessarily better, but it looks great!

Performance is superb. Can my other knives do the job? Yes, but none are as pretty as this one :)
 
I have an old Loveless design knife that Randall Gilbreath did with a Parker Edwards damascus billet. Ive had it 15 or more years and Im told it was one of his early ones. Wouldnt mind knowing more about how Parker Edwards got into damascus steel.
