Damascus w/mam. bark and red morrel burl

Had a little time before breakfast so I whipped this up......:D
Handle is Australian red morrel burl with mammoth bark bolsters (hidden pinned), ns pins and thong hole, copper/ns mosaic pin. Lanyard bead is made of the same piece of handle material.
Craig Barr 1084/15n20 damascus. Fileworked all around.
Sheath is hand tooled and sewn, and made by me as well.

That's nice work all around. The handle materials really compliment each other and the blade well. Not bad for before breakfast. :p

On a side note, I thought for a minute you might be my cousin. I have a cousin named Matt Doyle but he's in Indiana and I doubt he's ever made anything that nice. :D
 
That' very nice

It would be even better if you could get your makers mark to stand out against the etching more.
 
Hopefully you rewarded yourself with a place full of flapjacks as that knife is gorgeous!
