Damascus warped ... how to straigthen

The blade is Chad Nichols Lizard dMascus with 0.20" thick and 14" long.

It has been heat treated before any grinding. Has been tempered 425F a couple times. The warped is not very bad but Im not sure if we should heat it to tempering temp then straigthen or better to re heat treat and do it at the time pulling out from the oil.

That's the kind of warp that comes out really easily with the counter bend-temper method imo.

I edited "strengthen" into "straighten" for you.

As Kuraki said, clamp it to a piece of thicker steel with a coin under the high spot. Temper for an hour and remove from the oven. Let sit and cool until at room temp. It should be straight. Re-do as needed to get any other warp out. You won't hurt the blade with even ten one hour tempers.

I agree, it will easily be fixed my tempering with something to straighten it.
