As for the Damascus being softer, maybe it's more brittle. I dunno...can't recall what I read or where. I'm not as hard on my good knives as I was when I was a kid prying open paint cans.
But for the EDC, you may be right. Maybe I'll see what happens and order another one with Koa if they are out of BG-42 which was gonna be my next custom order...someday.

in case you had not noticed i joined the dog bunch... yep i got two of the yorkies... jingle & bells - yep i named them - no dont ask... had other things on my mind that day...

...Seems I heard that Buck doesn't cash 'em or charge your account if ya use CC's until the knife is done...IIRC...Not sure though. I'd call 'em and see if they even got it if it's been a super long time...as to that attachment being gone...it seems I lost quite a few of my stored attachments...Interesting...:confused:
