Hi guys, here I show some pictures of this knife that just finished.
Damask is 5160 and 15n20 pattern W very tight
Measuring the blade is 10" and the total length is 15.1"
The double guard is 420.
The handle is Green Dyed Maple Stabilized. It is the first time I make a green wooden handle, had doubts about this color but I finally liked it, I hope you too. (thanks Mark)
Regards to all
Claudio

man is that ever an awesome looking knife!

Your work is so fine that it wouldn't make any difference what color the handle would be.....another superb knife and the Damascus is wonderful my friend.

Great knife. I'm not too sure about the green. I always thought it was okay but I took a green handled knife to a show and it never even got picked up and looked at. :)

It looks good on this knife and that damascus is killer. Nice work again.

I like that a lot, and the color is very eye catching.

I think if it weren't so large it would be perfect for that little psycho evil leprechaun! sure and begorrah he'd need something to defend his pot of gold! (besides that buckle blade of his;))

if I didn't have prior knife related financial commitments, I'm pretty sure I'd buy this knife from you, if it were available. Partly based on the comments above. But mostly because I think it's the best looking knife, to my eye, that I've seen you make.

Very interesting, and the more I look at it, the more I like it!

It's so macho and handsome
The very mild recurve of the cutting edge matches nicely with the very long clip!
The so lazy S shaped double guard looks pretty cute!
And the green color of the stabilized maple enhances the shade of beauty in the fighter!
Just love it so much .. congrats to you Claudio :)

Your knives are masterpieces, and your "work in progress" threads are some of my favorite reads on BF. Please make more! :D

I don't normally go for bright dyed colored handles, but that handle looks almost like it was made from jade. I like this knife a lot.

Thanks for sharing.

Really like the crushed W's pattern of the steel.
Very nice overall shape, the contoured handle and guard look fine.
Never a fan of dyed woods until I tried some, absolutely adequate and quite striking.
Is that a character mark/void on the left side of the handle near the butt ?
Thanks for sharing.

You mean the brown streak?

Stunning knife...gorgeous sculpted handle and guard, love the green, and stellar damascus and blade profile!!

I love the overall blade shape, the damascus pattern and the elegant lines of this piece. Your handle ergonomics have always been first rate, and I expect this one would feel just terrific in hand.

If you'll forgive me for channelling my inner STeven, the green handle literally hurts my eyes. I'm just not generally a fan of wood dyed to unnatural shades - and this neon green is way too 'out there' for me.

That said, the overall design is a winner - I'd be grateful if you could drop me an e-mail or pm with pricing information on a similar piece with wood that looks like wood. ;)

Beautiful Knife Claudio.
While I am not a big fan of green colored handles, I think you did great with this.
As mentioned above, it looks a lot like jade.
Not many are brave enough to experiment with something this unusual.
While the color might not be for everyone, I'll bet the new owner will treasure this knife.
I think it turned out really nice.
Thank you for posting the photos.
