Damn you people.

Yes. I thought I was the only one who's this crazy. I can get addicted to anything if I start shopping around online. Especially once you find forums dedicated to the subject. Stuff I buy and never really use all that much. I've amassed stuff from cars and guns to fishing gear and aquariums. Usually, I'll just be looking for a cheap old thing and end up spending 10 times my original planned price. A few weeks ago, I was just planning to buy a stone and a $5 knife from walmart. Now I'm about to buy an edgepro apex and a battle rat. I've even been contemplating going for a Busse Steel heart. Somebody....please talk me out of it...

I dont mean this in a insulting way at all.... seriously, but how can you have a flashlight addiction?
It's easy. As one of my friends once said "You've got to have STUFF!". Cool toys...are cool, especially when they're things that you can enjoy using. I don't really "collect" anything, but I love to buy things to try out. I'd probably be a lot better off with your "buy what you need and use it" mentality, but I really enjoy fooling with this stuff.
I've got the flashlight bug, the knife bug, the power tool bug, the hand tool bug, the camping gear bug, the car stereo bug, more bugs than I can keep track of or afford, and more crap than I'll ever need, that's for sure:D
One of my coworkers rode with me to the store a couple of weeks ago and asked just how many flashlights I thought I needed after I had to move several from the passenger side to the back floorboard so he'd have a place to sit. Never really thought about it, they just migrated into my truck, somehow. I had to laugh at myself when I took a count, and realized that there was a flashlight in my pocket, another on my keyring, and NINE more in the cab of my truck.
I did bring a few in the house when I got home :o
