Dan Burke- how do they do it?

I would hope Mr. Burke thinks long and hard before doing more Collaborations with Queen. I've bought 3 Queen knives in my entire life and all three had bent blades. Two of them are the Dan Burke small and large Barlows. The small Barlow had many issues, one of which was a bent wharncliffe blade. I still love that knife.

The Large Barlow also has a bent blade. Back to Queen it goes. FWIW I've never had a bent blade from any other company. What's up at Queen?

Basically the same way Tony does with Case. I make the prototype and send it to them with a pattern and a finished knife. They then send it back to me for final approval before production.

Dan, I have to say, your patterns are excellent. I'm not sure Queen is doing them justice with their quality control as I've had three of the collaboration knives and all three were horrible in the F&F department but the patterns were good enough that I've kept them, tinkered with them, and made them workable.

Thanks for making custom designs accessible to poor folks like me. :D
