30 plus year veteran maker Dan Burke. Stamped #1,"NL",designates Newfoundland where he now resides.3" knife ,5-1/8" open. Blade is 3-1/8" with 2-7/8" cutting edge. Smooth action,cam tang.Black paper base micarta is perfectly checkered.
The blade steel is Sandvik 14C28N,is a combo of their 13C26 razor blade steel & their common 12C27 ss. The end result,a ss that'll take a razor edge like some of the carbon steel you all know to get that "toothy" edge,but with the corrosion resistance of stainless steel.
Hand rubbed satin finish,crescent nail pull,drawn swedge. Awesome knife.Very hard to obtain.
Knife ships with leatherette storage pouch,and a genuine leather in pocket slip case with makers name stamped on it.
