Where do I begin?
Dan Certo really likes these knives, he's still got this picture up on his website.
They are made of 5160 steel and zone tempered (differential temper) and are super tough, made to be used even as entry tools as needed. I'm not making this up. See his website for details. It is to my understanding that he does done a lot of strength testing on his knives.
I bought these a couple years ago, the tang says 2003 on it.
He makes them to be used, and you'll note that the blueing job isn't the greatest, but the handles line up perfectly with the tang.
Large is 1/4", med. and small both still a whopping 3/16" thickness.
PLEASE NOTE: The are made to be used as subhilt knives. Only three of my fingers fit comfortable on the micarta part of the handle, but I can just barely squish all four finger in there.
The small one is more of a three finger knives, with only two fingers that will fit into the micarta area, and the forefinger on the choil.
All include leather sheaths, they are a little crude, and I will send pics, by request.
All 3 for $420, shipped.
If you're interested in buying just one, I might put them up for individual sale in around two weeks, if they don't sell.
Also, if you take a look at his website and his prices, I think you'll see that this is a pretty good deal.
Please email me with questions, I will respond quickly and curteously.
I strongly encourage anyone interested to take a look at
