Lovely knife but unfortunately I have had some issues with the stag slabs. The stag shrunk slightly over the past year (despite several mineral oil soaks) opening the longitudinal seams between the slabs at the guard. The vertical seam between the guard and slabs is fine. The pins are still flush. I have filled the gaps with epoxy. Everything is stable and solid.
The blade appears mint and unused and is very sharp. There is a slight steel pinprick blemish at the end of the 52100 mark.
THe ergos are phenominal.

This is the knife for you if you want a great hunter by a great maker and are not bothered by cosmetics.....
