For sale is my Dan Farr Hunter
9 3/8" o/l 4 7/8" tip to guard, forged 52100 hand rubbed
This was what the original owner reported:
"The stag shrank slightly over the past year (despite several mineral oil soaks) opening the longitudinal seams between the slabs at the guard. The vertical seam between the guard and slabs is fine. The pins are still flush. I have filled the gaps with epoxy. Everything is stable and solid.
There is a slight steel pinprick blemish at the end of the 52100 mark.
The ergos are phenominal."
I carried and used it and managed to cut a box at work that had a piece of sandpaper in the bottom and put a few nice scratches on the blade.
Anyway, it's great hunter that takes a really nice edge and holds it well.
It's a user and I think it's priced accordingly.
The first pic is from little while ago and it's a little more used looking.
Asking $pf shipped
If you don't mind the cosmetics, I think that's a steal for such a good knife. It seems silly to almost give this away but as I'm making knives now, I'm trying to raise funds for tools.
heres a pic of the scratches.
