I was fortunate enough to snag one of Dan's pocket sized fixed blades off of the exchange here (a wonderful little knife, bottom right in the pic) which led to me asking Dan to build a larger bowie... What I received is nothing short of fantastic IMO as well as fierce at 15 & 1/4" OAL; truly an heirloom quality piece that I'm very proud to own. Don't mind the finger prints on the pommel, I really should have cleaned that off prior to the photo... :foot:

Oh yes!! Dan is an excellent/exceptional gentleman and a fine knife maker. I've several knives from his shop and every interaction with Dan has been an absolute pleasure!
