*** SOLD *** Hate to sell this. Dan Graves does gorgeous work at ridiculously reasonable prices, and has been an absolute gem to correspond with. The description below is from the maker himself :

" This is a big dagger with an artifact handle. The handle is a ancient artifact that was some sort of punch that was pointy and I left the other end natural. It is fossil walrus ivory. The handle was dug from private native lands by Inuit Indians on St. Lawrence Island off of Alaska. I did very little shaping on the handle and just polished except the end and it is how it came out of the ground. Fittings are nickel silver and sterling ferrule. I made the Damascus out of 1080 and 15n20 steel for the blade. The dagger is ground from 0.28 thick billet and the Blade length is 9 7/8 inches inches long and overall length is 14 1/4 inches. The stand is made from 3 different types of mahogany. The dagger is sharp and VERY pointy. This is one of my finer pieces. "

Also from the maker's original ad text, and still applicable : " Don't say Damascus (or knife) when paying by paypal as homeland security will put a hold on it. "

Price is $350 CONUS ( *** SOLD *** ), PayPal G&S, delivery via USPS Insured Priority with signature confirmation.
