I've tried to contact Dan several times via email about the micarta I ordered from him (and paid for) but he never replies. I don't know what else to do but post here in order to contact him. He said it'd be 3-4 weeks until it shipped and that was 9 weeks ago. I'm now worried that I wasted $40 that I'll never see again on micarta that I'll also never see. I'd like to hear SOMETHING. Any advice?

Dan is a Good Guy, and a highly respected member here, I'm sure there is a good reason. I was trying to access his website and it seems to be down... hmmmmmm

Odd, I was just going through the tutorials (very nice, by the way) on his website this morning around 10.

I'm waiting on the Micarta, also. However, Dan is an excellent guy; probably the distributor is jerking him around.:grumpy:

I bought some wood from Dan a couple of years back and he took quite awhile to ship but made it right by throwing in some other pieces. He's probably stuck working on a batch or something but he'll come through I'm sure.

ill vouch for daniel- sometimes he gets a bit bizzy but you will not be forgotten. Things just go abit slower in the south. Is arkansa part of the south? i think Texas is. anyway hang in there friend all will be well--thanks -marekz

I figured he'd eventually come through, it's just the 6 weeks late and no word that bothers me. And no responses to emails. If you guys say he's OK, I believe it.

Here is a link to the sticky in his forum.

You might want to give him a call. In my experience he can be hard to contact and he is pretty much always behind schedule, but, rest assured you will get your order...... eventually ;)

I am still waiting for my 3 sheets of micarta that I ordered from Dan. I checked Dan's forum - looks like he is very busy with completing orders from his Bushcraft Production run. It would be nice to hear some update from him, but I can only imagine how many e-mails/calls he has to answer every day, so I am just trying to be patient and wait.
