Pretty cool, but it looks like the round did not contact the edge at all, instead delivering a glancing/grazing blow to the side (flat) of the blade.

Agreed. I've caused more significant damage to a cutting edge by chopping a paper clip in half. Actual edge impact and the blade is toast, I don't care who makes the knife.

...and holy hell, you guys are crack shots, I can't hit a knife edge at 100 within two shots with a .50 without match grade ammo and i've regularly shot 1000+ but then again, my groupings aren't exactly an inch apart.

Actually no, from what I've seen in Afghanistan that is about what to expect. Sorry if the picture is disturbing, but that's what the big boy toys are REALLY for.
