Danbo called me about this this morning...I told him that you are full of shiit..you agreed to a deal then exchanged adresses and then backed out because you said you were not finished ironing out the details...It is my opinion that when you agree to a trade plus cash..then exchange adresses and shipping information the deal is done..what really happened in my opinion is that you found out either you 1. could not come up with the cash. 2. didnt want to part with the knife you were trading or 3 found out that maybe you could score a bigger deal with the knife you currently own so you started back pedaling.

and also to attack the character of a person that I consider a friend, a person I have done thousands of dollars worth of trades and purchase with both ways, and to post this on this forum earns you a membership permanantly on the PIRATES COVE PHUCKTARD LIST BABY!!!!!

now go climb back into the garbage can you slithered out of you idiot and dont come back...your a idiot..learn the etiquitte and the proper respect around here before posting this crap...

oh yeh,
A)he never even took his add down, if we had a deal then why didnt he put "traded" or "sold" on his ad????
B) he never lost a single thing bc he never sent a knife
c)word of advice for u "old pros" though know so much than the "newbies" about this whole thing-for an organization to get better it must grow over time and evolve.if u have babies like danbo scaring off newcomers and pushing knives on them when they first join, sooner or later its gonna be the same group of guys w/the same 'ol knives and nothing new will ever pop up bc everyone else will be in a forum where people dont get knives pushed on them.eventually they will all go somewhere else along w/all of the new knifemakers w/fresh ideas bc they get tired of the "old timers" acting like they were never "newbies" at one time & acting perfect!!!!!
d)and it didnt take me 40-50 years to learn this:Theirs only one man who is all knowing and perfect in everyway, and he's sure as hell not a member of bladeforum!!!

danbo's reputation is beyond reproach here jtstrider. Your apparent inexperience in online trades are to blame here and only furthered by your base attempt at discreditation in this thread.

You should have just apologized for changing your mind or being unaware of the knive's value. At least then you wouldn't come across sounding like a jerk off.

Jtstrider you have a great resource here in bladeforums and I think you should be careful what you say to well established members like danbo. Although I dont know him personally (meaning I have never done business with him) it is clear to me he is a person who can be trusted and that "overnight" thing seems a bit shady to me.

Well, I wasn't even going to bring myself down to this guy's level and respond, but what the heck.

First, YOU made the offer, not me. All I did was accept YOUR offer. If 60% is all you think it's worth and you offer it as such, so be it. My knife is not used, by the way.

I never got any emails you say you sent, because these emails probably don't exist. There's nothing wrong with my email server. If you sent them, I would have gotten them. Not that it matters anyway; the deal was done by then anyway.

Second, people are human and I forgot to post SOLD on my thread. Excuuuuuuse me. You will notice that I didn't BTTT it, until I was sure you were weasling out of the deal.

You wanna know what I think REALLY happened here? I think that when you first replied to my acceptance, and suggested that we each Overnight our packages, that you were really hoping that I was stupid enough to trust somebody like you. I think you had every intention on ripping me off all along, and only decided to back out of the deal because you hadn't found a sucker(but, I can't prove that, can I? So, we'll just keep it as my opinion for now, and not call it a fact).

Bottom line, and this is all I will bother to post on this matter is, YOU made the offer. I only accepted your offer. You're just trying to do a little damage control to your pathetic reputation(too bad it's already toast).
