Even though I grew up in Colorado, most of my adult life has been on the east coast (12 years scattered over Virginia Beach, Charleston, and Pittsburgh). Only recently have I been able to return to the land I love.

We could go down Cobb Pkwy. a couple of miles to the Paces Mill entrance of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. (S. end of the park) They have picnic areas, but we would have to check and see if that also means grills. Couple of $$ for parking.

They did last time I was there. If they don't we could go to one of the parks in Roswell that sits on the river. They have grills for sure.
