Dang Fast Shipping, Skunk !

Sweet!!! It's nice to see the Queen Rat and Grand Pooba's kids lined up for a family picture w/out one of them goofin' off. :D

Here's one showing the depth of a light swing into a 4x4.

I decided to hurry up and scratch this blade, lest I think I might sell it later.

When I first put the knife into my hand, I thought, "THIS is the knife I've been looking for, the 'one' that'll do anything and everything I'd need to."

That said, the edge wasn't as sharp as one would expect to find on a knife costing $427, and there were a couple sharp edges where there shouldn't be. But these deficiencies were overwhelmed by the sheer proper "feel" to it. I've already radiused the sharp edges and will put on a new edge when I recover from this unexpected score and I get an Edge-Pro.

Great knife just to heft while watching tv....

Nice pics, DE. Thanks for sharing 'em. Great collection you've got started showing some family diversity. Are you planning on adding more at Blade?

Seeing the comparison pics, I've got to ask. How comparable does the HOSJT feel to the Hell Razor?

They feel similar, sorta, but different enough to matter. The thicker blade and scales of the HOSJT make all the difference. Enough that I'm thinking about how to obtain another one......but I don't see that happening.

The HR has the standard scales on it, so maybe the magnum scales would help in that regard, but even then, the added blade thickness would still tip the scales in favor of the HOSJT.

Another feature I liked was the finger choil. It's longer, keeping my finger further away from the edge point, which I think is a good thing!

Can't go to Blade this time, but one is in my future, I think.

I was thinking yesterday that the HOGSJLE and the Heavy Heart would be the last two ever to be sold, if then. What couldn't these two knivies do ?

Everything else would go first.

Unless, of course, I find another "the" knife...............

then I'd have 3 I'd never sell !
