Dang! I'm on a roll, one more down.

It does work guys. Here's another one that shut down as "no longer available" due to my message to them. Check out his listings, all the "Bucks" auctions have been stopped.

"Dear plumberdv,

Hello! Your e-mail received was very shocked, due to my ignorance, this is my mistake. Thank you for reminding me, I will immediately remove this item. Want to give me a pardon. I wish you a good mood every day. Thank you very much!

I'm truly amazed, way to go Dave.:thumbup:I noticed the seller was in China and with the black box and the way the handle is made it looks to me it was made in the same factory that bigger one is made they call the Buck secretary dagger.IMHO,THAT'S REALLY SOMETHING!:D

It's like playing "Whack a Mole."

Hit one and the knife will pop up on another auction immediately.

The real pros have a network of sellers and each seller has a whole big bunch of seller IDs.

But......I admire your perseverance.

There is another one going on now that I am afraid some could be at risk.

There are three identical listings up showing exact same pic in all three, for a minty three dot 110.

MAYBE someone has three minty 3 dots, but with all three having exact same paperwork?? Same pics.

Seller hasn't responded to my questions.

All three listings has exact same heading.

Hurry and ask questions guys, if any of you are bidding on these.

I can tell you that the guy/gal is legit. I bought several of those from them and some other folks have as well. ITE knows the whole story about this hoarde of Bucks, he tried to buy them all but couldn't swing the deal, there were too many knives involved and too much money to come up with.

The seller just uses the same picture in every listing.

Whew....Thanks Dave...

They aren't just minty, they are brand new in the box old stock. I don't believe that mine were ever opened until I opened them. They had a little patina and some green on them that cleaned right off.

That's the golf guy. That guy has been using that same set of pics for about 18 months.

:D

Most have fairly heavy verdigris on at least the front bolster. It usually leaves some distinct fleabites on the edges of the front bolster, but nothing worse than shows up on his good pics that show the front bolster of the knife in those long-used pictures.

I must have gotten about a dozen from him by now and he shows NO sign of slowing down. Must be quite a stash.

Don't get sucked into bidding TOO high......seems there's always another one coming along.

This evening I received refunds in full for two of the fake Bucks I bought from the sellers in Hong Kong. One removed all his listings for them and refunded the money right away. The other one (3884 feedbacks and a "Top-Rated Seller) was a little harder to convince. He went ahead and shipped the knife after I told him not to, but has now refunded my payment for it in full and agreed to not list anymore if I don't leave negative feedback. I have 90 days to leave feedback, so we will just see if he keeps his word at least for that long.

I wonder how many fakes he's sold in the past? You might be the first person that's called him on it.

The guy lists bunches of stuff, but very few knives. I went through 600 finished listings and that didn't even get me back to noon yesterday! 99.9% of his auctions start (and sell at) .99. There are a few $25 digital camcorders.

All I could find were five of the "Bucks" that ended in the last 15 days and only two sold.

I think you're already putting a dent in the fakes popping up at ebay!:)

I hope so Tom. I've just gone through 10 pages (200 per page) of listing from worldwide beginning with the newest listings first. So far, the only obvious fake I've found is one of those "Buck Bayonet's" and that seller is in the US. I can't do anything with that one because the seller has me blocked from bidding or sending messages. He just got a negative from one of our members but it didn't seem to have had any effect on him.

I just spent about an hour trolling the bay for fake Buck Knives and the only one I noticed was the Buck Bayonets. The blade says USA Design but the sheath has the Buck Knives logo.I was really surprised all the rest of them are gone.Good job Dave!

Dave,
Good on you to fight the good fight!

May be a good use for paypal since they should give you your money back if the seller won't.

I sent the seller of the Buck Bayonet the following email, don't know what if any answer I get back. >
The knife you're selling isn't a Buck Knives product and is a counterfiet with Buck Knives logo on the sheath. If you continue auction this will go the U.S. Customs.

All three that I actually had to buy knives from have refunded the payments all ready. I used a credit card through PayPal also, there was another way to get it back if PayPal didn't come through.

:thumbup: That selller is located in the US and he's stubborn as a mule. Maybe you will get his attention. One problem is that he has positive feedbacks from buyers of the same knife and sheath. The knives must be fairly acceptable as just a generic fixed blade and the buyers don't have a clue that they aren't a real Buck.

I don't think he's gonna be stubborn after a certain company in Post Falls Idaho gets done with him. I do know for a fact that they are very aware of his actions and have one of the knives in their possession.:D
