Dang that Delica 4...

delicas are great knives, good ergos,4-way clip, spine jimping(not crazy effective but its still there)and alot more.i havnt bought the ffg version yet but planning on it,awsome knives for the money:thumbup::)

As with many other Spyderco knives, I paid MSRP for the Delica once and still feel like it was a good deal.

I recently bought a brown FFG version, and it's sweet. But it still hasn't made me stop using my SE D4. IMO, the great thing about the Delica/Endura 4, is that the serrations are cut fairly shallow, so they don't tend to snag as much as many other types (including my serrated versions of Salt knives). IMO, the SE works really well with the flat saber grind, although for PE, I much prefer the FFG. And the Delica is extremely ergonomic to carry and use.

I know how you feel. I pay MSRP + Vat 23% for most spydies I buy nativelly. That still cost nearly same if I buy them of flea bay due customs. However this Delica I got off 2nd hand for half of the regular price.

Attej -- I total agree on having a Bright color for a user. I looks alot less threatening in a social environment.

Waiting is definitely the hardest part... you'll love the knife though.

Yay, the wait is over! My Delica FFG Purple just arrived

Damn this is one sharp knife, even on Spyderco standards! I never would have guessed what a difference the more delicate (no pun..) ffg blade would make! Also, the purple handle looks even better in real life.

Nice job Spyderco

... and what's a new Spydie without some pics at BF... ;)

Here's a comparison pic of the blades of a "regular" Delica 4 and the FFG:

I noticed that the ffg pocket clip has a different kind of coating then the previous D4... hopefully it will stick better than in the previous version :D
