I saw one of Daniels knives on Our Forum and it was exactly what I was looking for. I contacted him 3-4-06. He did not have one in stock , so I placed an order. He said he started but didn't have enough gas to finish the steel. I thought it would be 2 or 3 months before I saw my knife. I went to my mailbox on 3-14-06,SURPRISE, a package from Daniel. The knife is a 5" twist damascus with zebra wood, black and brass spacers, and brass guard.
10 DAYS for a DAMASCUS KNIFE,10 days. He deosn't have a lot of time since he is a Commissioned Officer Nurse in the U.S. Army at Bragg.
I have cut everything not necessary to my survival and it keeps cutting. You can reach him at www.dpcustonknives.com.
I am a disabled vet and don't have a big knife fund, when I saw a 5" twist damascus for $155 I had to jump on it. Well not really a jump, more like a limping fall. But it was worth it. Look for him to be an up and coming or some other description knifemaker.
Daniel is one of our American Heroes , serving our country and guarding our way of life. I fought years ago and passed the duty to Daniel and the American troops fighting now.
When you see one of these brave young men or women coming home , stop and say welcome home. It sure feels good to you and them.
Thanks,
David Harrison
