The ultimate serious bowie. M.S. forged, 9", 5160 blade is flat ground with "V" edge (as opposed to convex and as opposed to "impossible to sharpen" if it goes seriously dull). Elk handle is a full 5", contoured beautifully and hand filling, steel guard and buttcap, sheath by Karen Shook holds the knife very tightly and lays low profile and perfect below the belt. The knife will not come out of this sheath accidentally.

I bought this knife directly from Daniel and spec'd it out as detailed above. Best steel (in my opinion), best grind, type of edge, guard style, sheath function, handle size, contour, and requested no gaps the moisture could get into and compromise the knife. It has the original, untouched, razor sharp edge, is in 100% new condition as received. Antiqued finish shows a few rub marks from the sheath due to the tight (and proper) fit. Does not detract from the knife. This is an outstanding Winkler and I would not sell it, but I'm shifting my collection into a different direction.
