This is a gorgeous Hawk. I'd wanted one forever then finally found it at a show in 2002. Completely mint from Daniel, a total safe queen since purchased. It has rough cross hatch marks on the head and the maple handle, stylized with 8 brass studs on each side. Great lines and forge marks with antiqued patina. Moose hide thong and the original catalog from Daniel. I recently contacted him and he said a similar hawk now goes for 600 without the studs and about 1-2 years to wait.
