Danish Oil On Dry Scales

The Danish oil looks nice. I usually just use Sno-Seal (beeswax) on my wood handles, which doesn’t change the color much, just a little darker

Just the Sno-Seal itself - no other products? How long did it take to dry after applying? How many coats do you go with?

No other products, usually. I have a can of tung oil, which I have used either before o after applying the wax, but usually I just go with the wax. I heat it with a torch or hea5 gun , hoping it will soak into the crevices. I am not counting “coats”.
I just put it on and warm it until itseems to be all soaked in.

I like it because in MN you can find it just about anywhere. I don’t worry about having too much, because most of it goes on shoes and boots.

If the handlesseem abit dry after a year or two,put some more on. It’s wax, not oil,so you can work it with your fingers without getting all greasy.
