These Danners are amazing! I began the break in process with them after the Holidays. Walking around indoors about an hour at a time. They never made it outside to do any hiking before it turned out that I needed a Rotator Cuff shoulder surgery. So no big backpacking for me this summer. However, I have found a great knife that I want so I will sell these to pay for that..
The only blemish is a small spot that I point out in the following photo and another scrape on the upper inside of the boot that is barely visible. Other than that they are
brand new in the box and ready to ship. I will pack the Original Danner box in a plain brown box so folks do not see what is in it.
Danner uses the Braddock foot sizing device for ease of customers when shopping online. So provided you have used that at your local shoe store at some point, you can go by that size and buy these with confidence.
The EE simply put by Danner means, medium width. They are not super wide as two EE's may lead one to believe. Curiously, and by Danner Hiking Boot design if you wear a 9.5 shoe than Danner will recommend a 9EE hiking boot. This is true in my case. And the result is one no, two well fitting, comfortable boots.
These boots are fully recraftable. And come with Danner Airthotic Inserts so your new boot will fit like a glove.
