Somebody called me and dared me to wave a Sebenza...

For the record, I'll never wave a Sebbie. It doesn't have enough thumb ramp real estate :p

Seriously though, even I have standards.

Make a wave out of a piece of scrap metal and weld it on!

I thought of something like that, except that you machine a dovetail cutout into the spine, then craft a wave with an interlocking piece that fits into the dovetail, and epoxy it.

Use a ziptie:D. Mines homemade and cost $.25 and 30 seconds.

I was thinking about using a TIG to weld a wave onto a BM Rukus. I'm pretty decent with TIG but I don't have access to the machinery to do so.

Waving a fixed blade would be like waving a folding shotgun stock :D

On thicker spines, it's possible to drill a hole and insert a threaded bar. The Spyderco Pkal uses a removable wave design like that.

lol, right up there with bayonet lug on a pistol. I believe Emerson has offered a fixed blade with a 'wave.' Say it ain't so, Ernie!

The problem is the blade is already hardened. Good way to break a tap.

That's just too much bs to go through.
