Look good Murph, I want to do that to my PB zytel too, I have orange liners on the way so they my 16 will be OD green and orange.

Thanks RB, I didn't stick with directions. I didn't find out until today when I called Rit what the od recipe even is. I only used about a half gallon of hot water as well. I left them in for about 45 min. I didn't mean to go that long, I just got distracted. Still, I'm unsure why they ended up slightly discolored on the high spots.

I think it's the zytel fighting the dye, it's not really the best medium for taking on color. It doesn't know what kind of knife modders it is messing with...
