I still think the picture I took of their booth at the high-point of Bladeshow 2005 says it all.
As the notation says, that picture was taken middle of the afternoon on Saturday. Bladeshow goes like this:
12:00noon - close on Friday: Buying frenzy as everyone scrambles to get the best knives and the knives the came for.
Saturday morning: Hangover time. The night before keeps coming back in bits and pieces...
Saturday afternoon: Dulldrums. This is social time. Time to check out new things. Time to look at the manufacturer's exhibits.
Sunday morning: Another hangover. "Did I really take off all my cloths?" "Yeah, but then you put on pantyhoes." "At least I wasn't naked." "Nah, you wore 'em on your head!"
Sunday afternoon: Buying frenzy, bargain time.
On Saturday afternoon, their booth should have been busy. But people almost seemed to avoid it. Look at the picture; people don't even want to be seen NEAR that booth... much less in it.
