Darkening micarta?

Hey guys. Quick question. I'm looking to darken up my micarta handles on my new woodsman pro. I tried mineral oil but it lightens up after two or three days. Linseed oil also came off pretty easily (is there a certain method for this?) how would Obenaufs Heavy LP be if used to darken and waterproof micarta?

Micarta is already water/weather proof. If you want it darker, it darkens with use... use it.

rubbing mineral oil on micarta will temporarily make it dark and moisturize your hands.
But you already tried that, how about green RIT Dye - powdered is best
