This turned out to be a good trade. The knife was as described, and was packaged very well.
 
Yep, depending on how it was sent, it could take a few weeks to arrive. If it was sent via some sort of express shipping, get darkhanger18 to email you the tracking number.
 
Every email is just one excuse after another. We decided to trade on 11-1-05 and on 11-2-05 i had my knife in the mail and on its way. I do understand that circumstances arise that we have no control over, but it is 11-18-05 and i have not recieved the knife yet. I do know that if i was almost two weeks late to ship a package i would pay a little extra and have the package shipped next day air or at least 2nd day. I doubt that i ever see this knife.
 
This is a rough time of yr. for packages in transit, shipping times have slowed up till yrs. end considerably. WITH that said, YES it sounds fishy (no tracking info WTF?) HENCE Thank you for the heads up sir! :thumbup:

I recently purchased a SR knife form someone in Canada. The deal was that I was to send the money order first and he would send the knife when he received it. Of course I checked out his references. It took almost two weeks for the money order to reach him. I was worried because I didn't wan't him to think I was dragging my feat. I mailed it the day after our deal was made. But I did give him a tracking #. He did the same for me and I have confirmed the day and time he put the knife in the mail and can track it. Just peace of mind.

So

I agree that mail/delivery times are sloooooooooooow currently but he could at least provide you with a tracking # for your piece of mind.

Just my 2 cents.
 
I just wanted to let everyone here know that the knife did show up today. I should have taken my wife's advice and waited a few more days, but i felt that quite a bit of time had passed already and that i was never going to see the knife. The knife was exactly as described and was packed well. I am sorry for the negative post darkhanger, but if you put yourself in my shoes,i am sure that you would have felt like you had been taken also.

jalt, im sorry about this whole mess up, you are aware of my situation, and im sorry i took so long with the whole shipping f-up, hopefully this hasnt tarnished my rep too much, again sorry about the mess up

As far as I am concerned this hasn't damaged your reputation at all.
 
Jalt, you can edit the title of your first post. Sometimes that doesn't change the title of the thread (it's a known bug) but if it doesn't I'll edit that to match.
 
well, im glad to hear that this hasn't hurt me(too much anyway, not as bad as wisdom teeth gettin ripped out, the infection, the hospital, and the insuing bills:eek: ) o well....all i gotta say is that this is one great group of people:D
 
Oooooh, darkhanger18: It sounds like YOU went through a great deal of excruicating pain!! I am so sorry!! I hope you are doing better now!!
 
yeh, im doing better now, they gave me some vikiden or however it's spelled to keep me from gettin too active, so, at least thats a plus;)
