BM Ambush, small or large, is getting good reviews. Camillus EDC is a great knife, but many including me have found its handle to be uncomfortably small. And my hands are only slightly large.
Busse Battle Mistress. Though that may protrude out of your pocket a little and is a tad bit over $50.
Oh what the heck, just go for the Cami EDC. I carry a talonite and I have to agree with fish that the EDC grip is a little small and my hands aren't big either. The EDC is also thin and lite making it almost unnoticeable in the pocket.
I have 3 Camillua EDC's and they're great knives.
Another knife I'm very impressed with, but don't see mentioned enough here is Joe Pardue's Production Toggle Folder. Great maker, great design and a sweet price.
Benchmade Griptillian/Mini-Grip or 530. The bigger two are going to push your $50 limit by $5 or $10, but if you can live with that they're incredible. The Mini-Grip streets for ~$50, with a 2.9" blade.
