Darn you all.... For the last 12 months or so I had a cryo... I was completely happy. Then I started poking around the world wide web and discovered "Blade Forums". Now... within the last 3 months I gave the cryo away to a friend with smaller hands, picked up a Cryo II, a Benchmade 477, a Spyderco Manix 2 and just today a Benchmade 909 StrykerII... My personal Banker "The Wife" is on to my madness. Next up an Emerson CQC7... When does it end? Oh the horror! :D

Peace OOK

NEVAR!!! Darn Travis you beat me to it!

lol, how's the Manix workin' for ya? Love my LW in S110V!

Once you're hooked on blades... It's downhill from there!

The Manix 2 Love it... I wasn't sure I would, but man its nice. Smooth as butter.

As for the wife... she is the only Sicilian I know who doesn't know how to cook. If I didn't cook we would die of starvation. :D

Welcome and congrats,, I handled that Manix 2 at the store in Golden CO,, man that's a smooth action.

Good luck keeping your head above water, the rest of us have come to terms with out fate already...

Welcome to the addition! Have you looked into a Hinderer XM-18 yet? Get your wallet ready Buwahahaha!

There are much worse things to become addicted to! Glad to see your passion has grown and you are buying fantastic knives from great manufacturers!

In my experience it does not end until you have tried many things and bought knives way too expensive for what they actually were and realized that a knife you had years before and thousands upon thousands of dollars earlier was actually the right knife. Then you start doing that with fixed blades, then autos, then...

My only recommendation is to be careful with the impulse buys...the new releases are just around the corner. Haha

Truer words not spoken...

But no worries, it'll end one day as you too like the rest of us will one day die, and your kids, grandkids, old lady, somebody will sell off the Lion's share of your collection at the estate sale for pennies on the dollar, filling a void in the next generation of addicts...er... I mean enthusiasts.

I have another addiction I have been knee deep in for 20+ years. Concert recording, archiving live music of all types. I have forgotten about more music than some have listened to in a life time. If this is any indication of what is to come with knives let first apologize to everyone, all your knives will belong to me at some point.... when I die I will have a Damascus / Titanium casket made and I will take it all with me....

It will slow down a little once you get better quality blade and it seems youre off to a good start. I'm down to buying only maybe 5 knives a year now.
